Dear customer
It’s often very confusing to know what is allowed with purchased and/or downloaded images, video or any other content you might find on the internet, our website and eshop included. So let us inform you, in layman's terms, of the intellectual property rights regarding any purchase you might make on our e-shop.
If you wish to dive into the more complex terminology, all purchased media are covered by the license outlined in our General Terms and Conditions.
So what is allowed?
Purchased media can be used for free for noncommercial use personally by you, all over the world and on all of your devices, forever.
What is not allowed?
The purchased media cannot be edited or altered in any way.
Identifiable people may not appear in a bad light or in a way that is offensive.
Don’t resell any copies of a photo, or video file e.g. don’t sell it as a stock photo, or video file, poster, print or on a physical product.
Don’t imply endorsement of your product or services by us.
Don’t redistribute or sell the media on stock media platforms.
Do not make unauthorized additional copies, in particular on end devices or media to which third parties have access to.
Do not publish or pass on digital content to third parties, or make it available to the public (including intranets).
Images cannot be used in the form of digital reproduction, including websites, online advertising, on social media, in mobile advertising, in mobile applications, software, on e-greetings, in e-publications (e-books, e-magazines, blogs, etc.), in email marketing and online media (including video sharing services such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, etc., printed in physical form as part of the packaging and labeling of the product, letterhead and business cards, point-of-sale advertisements, CD and DVD packaging or in advertising and copies of tangible media such as magazines, newspapers and books, as part of an advertising campaign operating "away from home" of the target group, including billboards, urban furniture, etc., embedded in a film, video, television series, commercial, or other audiovisual production for distribution in any medium now known or created in the future, regardless of audience size.
Please respect the hard work of the creators and keep these restrictions in mind.
Thank you very much!
