Macocha is a vast, dark abyss inhabited by spiders and bats. Their peaceful existence is breached every December by a couple of climbers climbing up the wet rock faces, some of whom even pretend to be spiders and bats. Macocha is the largest abyss in Czechia, situated in my beloved home crag, Moravian Karst.
